Some people find sunscreen application a hassle. However, sunscreen is probably one of important parts of skin care. Sunscreen helps prevent skin-aging and most importantly skin cancer. The sun produces harmful UV radiation and these kind of radiation is pretty bad for the skin. UV exposure is what causes skin aging and skin cancer. What sunscreen does is it protects the skin by absorbing these radiations instead of letting it get reach our skin. In choosing the right sunscreen, it is better to choose the one with the higher SPF protection, preferably SPF 30 or higher. And it also good to note to choose sunscreens that offer broad-spectrum protection as these kinds of sunscreen helps protect from the different kinds UV rays like UVA and UVB.
